The signal monitoring team based in our headquarters (Santa Rosa, CA) is looking for a student who would like to gain exposure of RF signal processing. This intern will contribute from algorithm development, code development (Matlab and C++) and final system integration.

You'll interface with many cross-functional partners from application engineering, product management and various R&D team, our team is across globe. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who likes to be working in high tech industry.

Responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities

• Develop solution software in C++, including driver code and user interface
• Setup testbed to verify solution performance
• Develop solution documentation including technical overview, solution briefs, and datasheet.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors Junior, Senior, or first year in master's or PHD candidate in electrical engineering
• Have concentration study in digital signal processing (DSP) with RF (wireless) signals theory and algorithm development.
• Familiar with some of the RF/MW signals, for example, RADAR, GPS/GNSS, Satellite. 4G/5G, WLAN, and Bluetooth etc.

Bonus skills:

• Familiar with software defined radio and its software components
• Signal waveform identification
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Keysight Internship Program Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university as of September 2026. Applicants who have graduated before September 2026 will not be considered unless they are starting a MS or PHD program after graduating.

Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates who now or at any point in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B Visa status) may not be considered.

California Pay Range: MIN $44.50 - MAX 47.93 per hour

Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
