This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit - where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.

What you´ll do
- Is responsible for product recommendations and testing, customized products applications, new product demonstrations and troubleshooting for customers. Performs technical visits (meetings, audits, demonstrations, troubleshooting, etc.) for customers with documentation. Reports technical results and leads customer presentations.
- Reports quality issues / customer claims to relevant parts of the organization (incl. CCMS/CAPRIS). Documents all activities in CRM tool (CAPRIS/ACE) and / or in the Application.
- Works with application equipment to provide solutions to enhance customer adhesive related processes.
- Can supervise and prioritize laboratory work and customer samples for technicians and interns, and report technical results to customers.
- Leads application engineering training of Sales / Marketing and other technical personnel.
- Mentors and supervises interns and Henkel rotation program associates.
- Traveling of up to 25-40 % is required for this role.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 2-3 years of application engineering experience in a laboratory setting with adhesive technology for automotive applications.
- Project management, presentation, and technical writing skills (Excel, PowerPoint, lab reports, AI digital tools, etc).
- Excellent collaboration, networking, customer interface, hands-on demos, technical training, and teamwork skills.
- Strong analytical, mechanical, organizational, troubleshooting, benchmarking, and problem-solving skills.
- Able and willing to travel 25-30% of the time
- The role is office based and requires selected candidate to be on site in the office 5 days per week unless they are traveling to a customer site, a Henkel facility or at a trade show.

The salary for this role is $70000.00 - $80000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
