QUI SOMMES-NOUS ?

La société MOSS est une joint-venture entre deux leaders mondiaux, Airbus et Thales, créée en 2002. C'est une société d'une centaine de collaborateurs, du domaine de la défense, spécialisée en ingénierie système. Située à Issy-les-Moulineaux, à 500 mètres de Balard et du Ministère des Armées, notre rôle principal consiste à assister la DGA (Direction Générale de l'Armement) dans sa maîtrise d'ouvrage de systèmes de commandement et de conduite d'opérations aérospatiales.

Data Architecture CANDIDATES THAT WOULD IMPRESS US PROFILE: You graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science or any other relevant field in University, and you have significant experience in Data Architecture and Decision-Making You have synthetic and helicopter view of the organisation You are recognised as a team-player and enjoy collaborative work You are a mentor willing to share your knowledge, whether orally or written COMPETENCIES: You can ensure that requirements of all life cycle stages are addressed at the correct point in time in the Architecting and Design of the System (safety/R-A-M-T/security/cost/human factors/affordability/interoperability/industrialisation...) You have a deep understanding of Architecture Definition You master one or several of the following elements (non-exhaustive): Knowledge and configuration of No-SQL database systems (Mongo DB, Cassandra, Redis, Hbase...) and ability to adapt them to the operating system (e.g., adjust rollback segments, define the tablespaces) No-SQL database tools, data restoration tools No-SQL database connection tools and methods Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark...) You are able to master database Infrastructure incl DataStorage, Big Data Infrastructure, Data Warehouse, Backup, Disaster Recovery and to manage a Datacenter including physical infrastructures, software layers on top of physical infrastructures You have proven communication and writing skills NICE TO HAVE: + [Specific knowledge linked to the domain / product / project to be filled in by Engineering Manager or Talent Acquisition] LIFE AS A THALES DATA ARCHITECTURE ROLE As a Data Architecture Role within Thales, you will: Drive the architecture by design constraints, key and critical topics, special and key functional and non-functional requirements, target cost and Value for the Customer (end users) to minimize the Solution to what is really needed as part of the trade-off analysis Ensure that requirements of all life cycle stages are addressed at the correct point in time in the Architecting and Design of the System (safety/ R-A-M-T/ security/cost/human factors/affordability/interoperability/industrialisation...) Interact with the development teams, mainly the Data and Deep Learning team Take charge of the design and development of different data systems for the teams Design the architecture of the target information system in connection with the use of data: definition of architectural patterns, integration principles to ensure quality data in order to respect GDPR/IS Security rules and meet business needs and constraints Assist Business Lines and project teams in identifying and using data in the context of their projects and during production in order to get the best value from it Contribute to the governance and knowledge of data (documentation, mapping in systems), as well as to the sharing of knowledge and data culture within Thales Bring to life the inventory of existing IT functions (applications and data repositories) and information flows Ensure that IT evolution projects are aligned with the target architecture You can identify contextual elements and concerned stakeholders and involve them in the identification of needs, operational scenarii, Customer Value, critical and key requirements, and sizing parameters to make the right arbitrations + [Other specific info - to be filled in by Engineering Manager or Talent Acquisition] YOUR CAREER AT THALES Future opportunities will allow you to discover other domains or sites.
