What you’ll do
- Gain hands-on experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies by working on real process improvement projects that enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Collaborate with industry experts to solve technical challenges and optimize production processes in a cutting-edge thermal materials manufacturing environment ">Support Kaizen events and root cause analysis to troubleshoot defects, bottlenecks, or quality issues in material production. ">Assist in implementing process improvements (e.g., cycle time reduction, yield optimization) and measure their impact on performance metrics. ">Develop standard work instructions or visual aids to enhance workflow consistency and operator training. ">Collect and analyze data (e.g., scrap rates, downtime) to recommend data-driven solutions for cost savings or productivity gains.
What makes you a good fit
- A undergraduate student graduating in 2027 or 2028 or a master’s / graduate student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering or Data Analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data modeling "> Experience with Power BI, including DAX and Power Query for data transformation and visualization "> Strong foundation in statistical analysis and interpretation of data

- This internship is eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support. "> Henkel’s Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August. "> Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
