Summary of Role:

The Staff GL Accountant will play an important role in managing the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role will involve a range of accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Assist with external and internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial processes and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
• Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
• SAP and/or Oracle experience is a differential

Other Responsibilities:

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department for US and EMEA entities.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc assignments as required like SAP implementation for GL related areas.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.

Expected Salary Range
$66,800.00 - $120,700.00
