WHY DO WE NEED YOU?Bailey Metal Products, a proud subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, is seeking a Detailerfor its Princeton (Ontario) location. This is a great chance to join a Top Employer and contribute to our growth and success.
The responsabilities:
- Read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings
- Create detailed drawings using Autodesk Revit, aligned with customer and engineering requirements
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure all design criteria are met
- Coordinate with project managers and project coordinators to stay within scope and timelines
- Prepare production orders, including machine files and necessary documentation
- Assist in developing and refining company drawing standards and procedures
- Maintain documentation and work instructions for consistency and compliance
- Continuously improve drafting processes to enhance quality and productivity
- Perform all other duties appropriate to the position as assigned or required by the supervisor
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
- Diploma in Engineering or Architectural Technology (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of detailing experience in a fabrication setting
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of framing (construction framing is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail
- Team-oriented and self-motivated
Working Conditions
- Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM-4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM-2:30 PM
- Travel may be required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Overtime may be required depending on project needs
