- Develop and assess new display technologies and components, across a range of Apple products and systems. - Design algorithms that can predict and improve the performance of OLED displays in Apple products. - Work with internal teams and external suppliers to characterize, model, and improve display performance through models; - Validate performance metrics and analyze large quantity data during both development and production phases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate novel display technologies

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, applied mathematics, physics, applied physics, or related engineering field such as materials engineering/electrical engineering and 3 or more years of relevant experience
• Experience with coding in high-level programming languages such as Python or C++

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience in computer science, applied mathematics, physics, applied physics, or related engineering field such as materials engineering/electrical engineering.
• Experience in deep learning algorithm design.
• Knowledge in organic light emitting diodes (OLED) displays.
• Expertise in optical modeling techniques, such as TMM, Raytracing, FDTD, RCWA, or Fourier optics.
• Capability to analyze large quantity data and draw meaningful/actionable conclusions.
• Proficiency in programming with any of the following languages: Matlab, Python, Java, C++
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across multiple teams.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
