Your work will have a direct impact in our expanding Fab Operations, in building out our platforms of purpose-built technologies such as smart mobile devices, personal computing, home and industrial IoT, automotive and more. What You Will Do:
- Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders .
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources; prepares production reports.
- Lead, manage and train a team of Wafer Fab Operators / Technicians in the day-to-day operations to meet daily targets and overall Operation Goals - Cycle time, Throughput, Prototype success and Fabout Shipment plan
- WIP and Tool Management - WIP Balancing, Held and Queue lots Management, manage equipment PM, capacity and constraint
- Allocate and deploy manpower effectively for optimum productivity
- Present daily production indices in module meetings and highlight key priorities for the Engineering team to focus
- Ensure and uphold safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance in work area by all personnel
- Ensure proper documentation and continuously updating manufacturing Standard Operation Procedure
- Engage support groups like IE and Engineering to ensure accurate and up-to-date assumptions, constraints and UPH are used in the tools capacity modeling
- Engage CIM, AMHS, and MFG Systems team for system improvement
- Drive quality and productivity improvement projects
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in production control, preferably in a wafer fab / Electronics / Electrical industry
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
- Willing to support 12-hours rotating shift. (3 or 4 days' work week)
