About this Position

In this role, you will lead the development of Beauty and Detergent formulations, ensuring compliance with global standards and local regulations. You will manage end-to-end product development - from raw material selection and formula design to industrial trials and product launches - while collaborating with regional teams and external partners to drive innovation and ensure quality.

What you´ll do

• Driving the development of Beauty and Detergent formulations, ensuring alignment with marketing needs while maintaining consistency with regional and global strategies.
• Managing formulas in SAP and guaranteeing their compliance with approved product designs; establishing and implementing clear R&D procedures to support new product launches together with the local team & regional teams.
• Ensuring all raw materials used in Beauty and Detergent projects comply with local regulations, Henkel standards, and global guidelines.
• Building and maintaining external collaborations with laboratories and institutes for analytical testing, claim support, and product performance validation, leveraging Design of Experiment (DoE) methodologies.
• Keeping all formulation-related documentation, specifications, and R&D databases up to date according to Henkel standards, with a focus on innovation.
• Defining and approving Manual Instruction Sheets (MIS) for each Beauty and Detergent products in collaboration with product developers from the Dubai Innovation Center.
• Actively participating in the development and industrialization phases of new product launches into full production and supervising industrial trials for detergents & hair care.
• Attending and leading production trials, providing technical expertise to optimize formulations and troubleshoot scale-up challenges.
• Managing local and regional stakeholders through strong project management skills, ensuring timely delivery of Beauty and Detergent projects across multiple categories.

What makes you a good fit

• BSc/BA in Engineering (preferably in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Department), MBA or master’s degree is an additional asset
• At least 5 years of R&D experience in a multinational environment, preferably in FMCG sector
• Successful track record in dealing with Beauty and Laundry Detergent product development with sound market know-how in Turkey
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
• Open to work in an internationally diverse environment, capable of establishing sound relations across geographies within the diverse teams
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Advanced user of MS Office applications
