Description
About this Position-  Oversee, lead and further develop the regional Asia Packaging organization with three Hubs (Shanghai, Tokyo, Seoul) and different product categories (Hair-Care & Color, Laundry, Home-Care and Insect Control) together with your team-leads.
 -  Define the overarching packaging end-to-end strategy and the thematic goals within Asia Packaging, considering the overall Henkel strategy and the regional and local business strategies and aligned short term goals.
 -  Ensure and establish good internal and external stakeholder collaboration and state-of-the-art and efficient ways of working.
 
What you´ll do
-  Development of a cohesive Asia Packaging Team and ensure people’s development.
 -  Representation of Asia Packaging towards internal and external stakeholders and coaching of your team in important or challenging situations.
 -  Overseeing the packaging related processes and improvement of efficiency and ways of working to ensure that empowered teams can deliver on NPIs and special projects in full.
 -  Definition of the Packaging Strategy, the short and mid-term goals and the focus areas.
 - Create additional value by leveraging packaging innovations, sustainability and cost savings.
 
What makes you a good fit
-  10 years+ of proficient Packaging expertise in the FMCG Industry with regional or global scope with a proven track record of relevant and impactful packaging projects.
 -  5 years+ experience in senior roles with developing and leading cross-regional packaging teams or projects groups by making use of cooperative & adaptive leadership styles by utilizing transformative, transactional or participative leadership.
 -  Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Packaging Technology, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field or any relevant comparable education and a strong understanding of relevant packaging materials and technologies (plastics, paper, metal, glass, flexible, decoration, dispensing, molding).
 -  Very good communication skills in fluent English and an entrepreneurial, consumer-centric and innovation-driven spirit. 
 - Change Management & Team Development skills with an empathic, dependable and positive mindset.
