Description
DescriptionThis role will establish strategic plans and objectives for on-product TV and sports photography, including strategies for best uses of photography, creative direction, content innovation, executive-level communication, people management, and process refinement. Bring your deep expertise in creating and directing photography experiences oriented around entertainment content, across all media types, screens, formats, and technologies!
Responsibilities
- In this role you will build photography systems and visual content that shapes the Apple TV brand and product experience.
- You will develop photography strategies in collaboration with department heads and key stakeholders, and you'll direct photographers and creative teams on the execution of those strategies.
- You'll be expected to provide photography leadership for internal teams as well as external vendors such as agencies, photographers, and production partners across multiple projects on multiple timelines.
- You'll be an inspiring creative leader, and a fountain of ideas and visual thinking, who can think and implement quickly, laterally, independently, or collaboratively.
- You will strategically connect photography development with what viewers need in a product experience, and you'll immerse yourself into understanding the nuances of entertainment content production at Apple, including unit photography, gallery shoots, and sports photography partnerships.
- You will craft beautiful, story-driven presentations and present work to senior creative leadership, business, product, design, marketing, engineering partners, and Apple executives - articulating photography concepts with energy, enthusiasm, and confidence.
- For sports content, you will work with the Sports Creative Director to drive the role photography plays in brand systems, from development through launch and sustained week-over-week featuring, tapping into other department experts in supplied and original photography.
- For TV content, you will work throughout the lifecycle of Apple shows and films to ensure photography supports on-product strategy, collaborating with the Marketing photography and operations teams, show creators, directors, and production teams from pre-production through post-release.
- As a manager, you will foster and nurture relationships, managing and mentoring creative professionals, using that rapport to align teams around your vision.
Minimum Qualifications
