Description
DescriptionIn this role, you will design and build the next generation experimentation platform for the Apple Ads ecosystem. You'll be responsible for transforming complex ML workflows into intuitive web applications. You will introduce AI-powered insights through seamless user interfaces, develop workflows from model training to A/B testing and evaluation, all while delivering on Apple's privacy commitments in large-scale distributed cloud computing environments. You'll join a team where we obsess over user experience and believe the best interfaces make complex technology feel simple. You'll conduct user research, iterate on designs based on real feedback, and measure success through user adoption and satisfaction. You will join and contribute to a culture that emphasizes observability and understandability, reliability, resiliency, simplicity, reusability, extensibility, scalability, velocity and productivity. Some Technologies You'll Use: * Infrastructure: Docker, AWS, Splunk, DataDog, etc * Frontend: Modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js) * Backend: Java 21, Spring Boot, Python, PostgreSQL
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-stack development with strong frontend focus using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
- Experience designing and implementing intuitive, responsive user interfaces with data visualization libraries
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms for optimization
- Experience designing, implementing, and iterating on intuitive user interfaces
- Experience building and deploying RAG Machine Learning models to production using data processing tools
- Experience with A/B Testing infrastructure and/or methodologies.
- Proficiency with database design and database languages (SQL) to build applications.
- Experience with alerting and observability tools (DataDog, Splunk) to monitor production systems
- Skilled at operating in a cross-functional organization.
- Ability to condense complex concepts and projects into clear, actionable takeaways
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a curious business attitude
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with cross-functional ownership
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or related field.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
