Thales Alenia Space in Luxembourg, based in Belval (Esch-sur-Alzette), develops state-of-the-art digital solutions, using big data, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity technologies to address complex end-to-end space systems' challenges, while fostering UI/UX excellence.
By joining our dynamic team, you will support creative people designing and developing key digital features for space systems and innovative solutions for ground segments. You will report to the General Manager and work in close collaboration with the whole Management Team.
We are currently looking for an Office Manager & Country HR (12-month fixed-term contract) starting in December 2025 to cover a long absence.
What we can do together
As Office Manager & Country HR, you will offer HR management, internal project management, and general office support services to our truly multinational site of 30 people. This dual-role demands a dynamic individual capable of both leading all human resources activities and contributing to a productive and positive workplace environment, while ensuring smooth office administration.
More specifically, your main missions will be to:
- Act as Country HR Manager, rolling out the full HR lifecycle such as Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, HR Administration (interfacing with a local payroll and HR Admin provider), Compensation & Benefits, Training Programs, Performance and Talent Management, Social Relations, Offboarding;
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies, updating internal documents as needed (in English);
- Develop Diversity & Inclusion and employee well-being initiatives, leveraging Group tools and driving local programs;
- Track progress on actions plans and special projects such as Engagement Surveys, self-service HR requests tool;
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including facilities management (office layout, coordination of maintenance work with service providers etc), office supplies, parking management, purchase requests, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, security, and safety regulations and initiatives at both Group and local levels.
- Take responsibility as Data Protection Referee (DPR);
- Act as Culture Captain : i.e. facilitate meetings and workshops, and playing a major role in shaping our company culture;
In addition, you will also provide entity general support, including the organization of meetings, the update of listings and calendars, the organization of events, the preparation and maintenance of reports, layout review, meeting minutes…
About you
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field,
- You have primary significant experiences in an HR or administrative function including HR matters with a good knowledge of the Luxembourg labor law,
- You have a strong proficiency in French and English (both spoken and written),
- You are a natural and energetic communicator, showing enthusiasm and positivity,
- You are at ease working both within a major group and a small structure,
- You can help Managers fostering people engagement and cooperation,
- You have strong communication skills (both written and spoken),
- You have demonstrated skills in leading projects such as office move, events organization, benchmarking of potential partners,
- You demonstrate a good capacity to assess and manage risks, you can show discretion and keep confidentiality,
- You are autonomous, can work with limited supervision and commit to deadlines,
- You understand and agree that you role will be polyvalent due to the Luxembourg structure (multi-hats role) and are service-minded,
- You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
