Our financial department is currently seeking candidates for the position of:
Product Manager
Poznań, Poland
Your responsibilities:
- Represent the voice of the customer to the product team, deeply understanding customer needs and required technology capabilities.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to maximize business value and deliver necessary functionality.
- Collaborate with the business, Engineering Managers, and product teams to define product functionality and priorities.
- Use global processes to understand the scope, complexity, and dependencies of the business and product functionality.
- Communicate with the Group Product Manager to ensure alignment across products within a product family.
- Responsible for managing software vendor relationship; product complexity and impact are medium.
- Understand technical topics at a conceptual level, including systems and data that enable major capabilities and drive innovation.
Our requirements:
- 8 or more years of experience in Financial Services or Product Management.
- Strong English written and verbal communication, working collaboratively with technical development teams across the business and IT organization, including other business and technology leaders.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate the feasibility and relevance of proposed complex products and services, with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Monitor all aspects of a product life cycle, including long- and short-term development and marketing. Explore issues or needs, establish potential causes and barriers, and identify related issues.
- Deliver defined features, functionality, or outcomes from a designated part of the development/engineering program, selecting the best available approach within established systems.
- Supervise activities performed by a product development/vendor development team.
- Complete research and analyze data to develop or support a sound understanding of customer segments, trends, needs, and expectations.
- Support internal and external customers and develop and/or deliver communications.
Nice to have:
- Business model, business context, and business process understanding of financial services businesses.
- Experience working with global teams and with European banking supervisors, handling financial regulatory implications for financial systems.
