The Regional Sales Manager Austria and Switzerland is responsible for growth and expansion of Austria and Switzerland sales within a specific regional subset covering 7 territories; meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets through the direct management of specific accounts and through the management of a specific sales team formed by Territory Managers and maintaining a specific focus on margins and profitability according to the company sales policy.
The incumber performs his job fully in compliance with Danaher Code of Conduct and Danaher Core Behaviors, working closely with other functions such as Marketing, Field Application Specialists, Customer Service, and others to identify synergies and appropriate strategies, and ensure growth.

The position reports to the General Manager, is part of the DACH regional team, and is remote in Austria.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with the General Manager and relevant stakeholders to plan and execute sales activities that achieve and exceed targets, maximizing business opportunities and revenue growth across the product portfolio.
- Maintain margins, profitability, pricing, and system productivity in accordance with company guidelines and policies.
- Drive business development through regional events in collaboration with Marketing.
- Promote menu utilization and expansion in existing accounts; increase the installed base and market penetration in new segments.
- Learn, implement, and sustain tactical plans using Danaher Business System (DBS) tools, including Action Planning, Funnel Management, Growth Room, and Daily Management.
- Lead and coach team members on effective use of sales tools and strategies to overcome challenges.
- Design Territory Plans and assign targets to each team member, monitor progress and achievement throughout the year, contribute to forecasts, and deliver monthly reports and quarterly sales plan updates.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- People management experience and a demonstrated ability to drive results through a team structure are strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and readiness to act as a "hands-on" leader.
- Excellent communication skills to explain strategies and tactics to the team, convey performance expectations, and manage with clear goals.
- Ability to present strategies, projects, sales data, and performance to senior management confidently and analytically.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver revenue targets, including identifying growth opportunities in both existing and new markets.
- Fluency in German and English is required; French is desirable.

In accordance with the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, this job advertisement is directed at all persons regardless of gender, age, origin, ethnicity, religion, worldview, sexual orientation, or disability. The minimum gross annual salary for this position, as stipulated by the applicable collective bargaining agreement (Handels-KV), is €44,800, based on 14 salary payments per year. We are willing to offer a higher salary depending on your qualifications and experience.
