Overview

RF/uW Interconnect and Wireless application Engineer to support and grow our presence in Vietnam.

We are looking for a customer-facing Manufacturing Applications Engineer to partner with leading AI datacenter, networking, and interconnect manufacturers in deploying test and measurement solutions for high-speed digital copper cables and interconnects. This role combines technical expertise in high-speed digital and RF/microwave testing with strong customer engagement skills to help customers achieve world-class manufacturing efficiency, product performance, and compliance.

You will serve as the trusted technical advisor, bridging customer needs with our test & measurement solutions, supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), scaling into volume production, and enabling continuous improvement in test strategies.

This role will also be needed to support the Wireless Devices and Network customers (Wireless Network and Devices Manufactures, Satellite Comms and Mobile Network Operators and Regulators). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF/microwave, electronic systems, test instrumentation, wireless communication standards, RF Channel Emulators and Wireless Emulators, combined with a passion for solving technical challenges and delivering exceptional customer support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for customers in the high-speed digital interconnect (DACs, copper cables, PCIe, Ethernet, InfiniBand, etc.) and wireless communications industry, providing pre-sales and post-sales support and project management of complex delivery.
• Work directly with customer manufacturing and process engineering teams to integrate test & measurement solutions into production lines.
• Support customers through the full product lifecycle: from NPI test development, to manufacturing ramp, and high-volume deployment.
• Collaborate with customer teams to troubleshoot yield, signal integrity, and quality issues in production.
• Support customer factory acceptance testing (FAT), audits, and compliance validation.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands-on training sessions for customers and partners.
• Develop application notes, best-practice guides, and test automation scripts tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and help define solution strategies
• Work closely with product management and R&D to relay customer feedback and influence future product development
• Act as a technical advocate, ensuring customers gain maximum value from T&M investments while improving time-to-market and cost-of-test efficiency
• Stay current with wireless communication industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies in the Vietnam manufacturing landscape

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related technical field
• 5-8+ years of experience in test and measurement or applications engineering, with a focus on RF/uW technologies and wireless communication markets
• Understanding of RF/microwave design and measurement (S-parameters, TDR/TDT, impedance matching).
• Strong knowledge of signal integrity concepts and measurement techniques: insertion/return loss, crosstalk, jitter, skew, eye diagrams, and BER
• Familiarity with AI datacenter interconnect standards: 400G/800G/1.6T DACs, PCIe Gen5/Gen6, 800G/1.6T Ethernet, InfiniBand HDR/NDR/XDR.
• Hands-on expertise with oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs, BERTs, AWGs, and RF/uW test instruments
• Exposure to manufacturing automation systems (MES, SPC, DOE, Lean/6 Sigma).
• Ability to create technical collateral (white papers, webinars, technical training modules).
• Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or C/C++) is a plus
• Ability to travel to customer sites (domestic and international) as required.
