Description
DescriptionAs a Senior Frontend Engineer, you tackle sophisticated problems while enjoying working in an Agile team that continually delights and surprises our users. You collaborate daily with designers, data engineers, and product managers and play an active role in the future roadmap of our web applications. You have proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate sophisticated technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will need to audit new and existing internal and external solutions, work with teams throughout the lifecycle of a project on features and solutions, liaise and co-ordinate with various functions, and represent the team positively and effectively at all times. You will be a pragmatic and trustworthy individual, able to promote the best results whilst also nurturing positive relationships with all those you work with. Does this sound like you? Join us!
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years experience in web development.
- Solid foundation in front-end technologies (Svelte, React, Angular)
- Proven experience in crafting and architecting large-scale systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability Proficiency with RESTful API development and integration
- Native App development or willingness to learn swift and contribute to the tool's development is a plus.
- Experience using Git.
- Strong experience with data modeling, working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Large project experience. You have a track record of driving positive changes inside mission-critical code bases.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing AI-assisted user interfaces, including chat-based UIs, intelligent search, and content generation or summarization tools.
- In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
- Ability to collaborate and influence multi-functional teams, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on results and a drive towards innovation
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
