Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to design, implement and evolve the user facing features of the multivariate experimentation platform. Promote experimentation best practices across the organization. Execute on the experimentation roadmap and future integrations with data-driven prioritization. Exercise strong judgment and make thoughtful decisions with ambiguous situations. Strike the right balance between short-term wins vs. long-term success based on various constraints. You will join and contribute to a culture that emphasizes observability and understandability, reliability, resiliency, simplicity, reusability, extensibility, scalability, velocity and productivity. Minimum Qualifications

• Working on A/B Testing infrastructure and/or methodologies using experience with multi-variate experimentation, and metrics generation/measurement.
• Building and deploying Machine Learning models to production using data processing tools including Spark.
• 10+ years of experience in application development with an in-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in computer languages, including Python, Java, and Scala, to support Machine Learning components.
• Familiarity with causal machine learning tools and technologies
• Using database languages (SQL and NoSQL) to build applications.
• Using alerting and observability tools, including DataDog or Splunk, to monitor systems in production.
• Optimizing system performance using data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with software development using one of the following programming languages: Java, Scala, Rust, GoLang, Python.
• Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Skilled at operating in a cross-functional organization.
• Familiarity with simulation tools and technologies
• Ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise takeaways that drive action.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related field (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD).
• 10+ years of industry experience building scalable applications.
• Curious business attitude with a proven ability to seek projects with a sense of ownership.
• Excellent communication, social and presentation skills.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
• Prior experience with advanced statistical and causal inference is a huge plus.
• Experience collaborating with UX designers to prototype the user experience during the design phase.
• Prior experience in building highly performative Experimentation systems is a huge plus.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $212,000 and $386,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
