- Senior Mechanical Engineer, Systems Integration
Description
Role Description
The Mechanical Engineering team at Form is focused on designing the battery cell, module, and system enclosure that forms the foundation of our innovative utility-scale multi-day energy storage system. We strive to deliver designs that are optimized for performance, quality, reliability, and cost for high-volume manufacturing at Form Factory.
We're hiring a hands-on Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to own the integration of complex subsystems and drive the top-level assembly design for our next generation battery pack. In this role, you will be a key leader in the conceptual through detailed product design stages, contributing to first-of-a-kind build activities, vendor engagements, and design for manufacturing. You can expect to work on developing the design of our battery pack, driving us through a series of internal system design reviews, and working closely with a cross-functional team of chemical, electrical, and mechanical engineers to efficiently design, prototype, and test the storage systems.
If this sounds like the right position for you, apply now! This opportunity will help shape and scale our multi-day energy storage system, contributing to the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission, contributing to a sustainable future!
