Description
DescriptionDoes building software from the ground up excite you? Are you able to help us answer the who, what, when, where and why of data collection and storage? We're looking for you! You'll lead a multi-discipline team of software engineers building the data governance solution for Apple Software Engineering. You'll drive the creation of UI, API and reporting components which allow all stakeholders to successfully update, interrogate and audit data governance metadata. This role is critical to all of SWE and directly impacts its ability to ensure Apple is meeting its goals around Privacy, Compliance and Security
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of managing teams
- Track record of building and managing high-performance software engineering teams.
- Strong sense of ownership of the development process and the will to drive the team toward constant code, application and process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business and technical teams.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills - Lead by example to empower and challenge the team to deliver their best.
- Experiencing architecting, building and maintaining complex, multi-component applications.
- Proven ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $216,600 and $325,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
