H2M architects + engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, environmental consulting firm seeks a Project Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Resources team out of our Parsippany, NJ office.
Job Responsibilities
- Project involvement and/or supervision of water planning and design projects, water planning, design and construction engineering services.
- Coordination with other engineering and architecture departments within the firm.
- Preparation of construction drawings and specifications for public bid.
- Relationship building and communication directly with clients in support and coordination of all project activities.
- Responsible for the on-time, on budget, high quality client and technical delivery of all project requirements.
- Production and scheduling; quality control; standardization; supervision of junior level staff.
- Technology implementation; financial performance; cost proposals and project financial performance.
- Experience with CBS (Chemical Bulk Storage) and Petroleum Bulk Storage (PBS).
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or closely related discipline
- 7 years of water resources or related consulting and design experience.
- Strong client relations and technical writing skills.
- Ability to mentor and supervise junior level staff.
- Wastewater project design and construction experience a plus.
- PE highly desired.
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications – not related to any applicant’s characteristics protected by local, state or federal law. Note: The salary or hourly rate indicated does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
