Description

The ideal candidate is a frontend web developer with experience in web-related technologies, has a keen eye for usability, savors tech challenges and thrives on delivering customer value and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- As an Engineer on our team you will be responsible for building the next generation of user experiences. Design, code, test, and implement rich web applications that provide Apple-standard user experiences for customers in Channel Partner stores. As this team prides itself in embracing emerging technologies, you should have the ability to research, recommend, and apply the most appropriate technology for the task. Working In collaboration with our business teams and technical partners, this role will work to actively improve the usability, efficiency, and overall effectiveness of our team.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of front-end engineering experience in enterprise or consumer applications.
- Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills with experience of framework like React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with RESTful & GraphQL APIs and handling large datasets.
- Experience writing unit and integration test (Jest, Playwright, Cypress etc) and familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent field
- Strong proficiency with UI performance optimization techniques.
- Experience developing and contributing to design systems or reusable component libraries.
- Passion for building a rich and innovative user experiences.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
- Experience in building responsive web applications.
- Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (Express), RESTful APIs) to facilitate seamless front-end and back-end collaboration.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
