Description
DescriptionYou will join a dynamic quality assurance team, responsible for Interoperability and Performance validation of Wi-Fi (and other Wireless Technologies) features on iOS, MacOS, WatchOS & other exciting products. You will be delivering flawless connectivity user experience to our customers! Job responsibilities include: crafting of test strategies, using various test methodologies, building test setups, using AI tools to automate test framework and test plans to ensure the best quality in Wi-Fi connectivity for an exciting product line.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop test plans to ensure the interoperability, connectivity, and performance standards of Apple products are met.
 - Build, configure, and maintain test infrastructure to efficiently execute test plans across various software releases.
 - Identify, document, and report any defects or issues discovered during the testing process.
 - Conduct thorough analysis of system logs to diagnose root causes of observed issues.
 - Collaborate closely with development teams to validate software and firmware patches and fixes.
 - Leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to create automated testing scripts and frameworks for enhanced testing efficiency.
 
Minimum Qualifications
- You have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- You have 3+ years of experience in 802.11 protocols and/or Bluetooth.
 - You have 3+ years of experience in SQA methodologies and practices.
 - You have experience in developing test strategies & executing it with automation or manual testing.
 - You have experience in utilizing tools, including Wireless and Bluetooth packet sniffers and network protocol analyzers, to help resolve, root cause and provide debugging information to engineering teams.
 - You thrive in a collaborative environment and comfortable working with multi-functional teams.
 - You're laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers.
 - You have the ability to write automation and automate existing test cases to improve efficiency.
 - You demonstrate proficiency in Python and/or C/C++.
 
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,300 and $213,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
