Project Engineer
Full time, 100% work from home
$80-82k annual salary

Lewicki & Associates is seeking a self-motivated and service-oriented individual in a Project Engineer position.
Technical Support & Analysis
- Provide technical support for engineering and environmental consulting projects
- Conduct data analysis, modeling, and GIS mapping for project deliverables
- Assist in site assessments, environmental analyses, and geological evaluations
- Support project teams with technical calculations and engineering solutions
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare technical drawings, maps, and visual presentations using GIS software
- Assist in developing technical reports and documentation
- Create and maintain project databases and digital asset libraries
- Support permit applications and regulatory documentation preparation
Project Coordination
- Collaborate with senior consultants and project managers on project execution
- Coordinate technical aspects of projects from design through completion
Ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications - Support multiple concurrent projects with varying timelines and requirements
Research & Development
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Research regulatory requirements and technical standards
- Support development of new methodologies and technical approaches
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid US work authorization
- Must have valid driver's license
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mining, or related field), Geology, Environmental Science, or related technical field
- Professional certifications relevant to GIS, environmental, or geotechnical fields are advantageous
- No professional licensure required
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering, environmental science, a related field, or graduate school
- MSHA Part 48 Training a plus
Technical Skills
- Required: Proficiency in GIS applications (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms)
- Preferred: CAD software experience (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar)
- Strong understanding of spatial data analysis and mapping techniques
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Data analysis and database management capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
